ADOKVA is an interactive Earth and space visualization that helps show the connection between a place of birth and a place of residence.

ADOKVA is an independent, unofficial service. It is not affiliated with governments, immigration authorities or social networks and does not verify identity or the accuracy of selected places.

Your “born / live” choices and generated route are stored only in this browser’s localStorage on this device. No account is required. Selected cities and routes are not sent to ADOKVA and are not placed in the URL.

Opening the site creates standard technical requests to Vercel to deliver pages and files. If you separately confirm participation, that request contains no selected city or route and only increments one anonymous global aggregate counter. Vercel Web Analytics is not currently enabled in the ADOKVA runtime. Hosting and network providers may process an IP address and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. City search uses ADOKVA files and does not send search text to an external geocoder.

If you email adokva@adokva.com, your sender address and message are processed by email providers. You can remove local choices by clearing this site’s browser data.

Local Path Beacon

If you choose to open Path Beacon, your browser locally creates a reproducible code for the selected direction. ADOKVA does not receive or store that code, selected cities, coordinates or route, and the code is not placed in the URL. Copy and system Share run only after your action. If you choose an external app, that service handles the code you chose to send. A Beacon is a path code, not a person identifier or a secret password.

Data and material sources

City search uses GeoNames data under the CC BY 4.0 license. ADOKVA builds a local search index and does not send search queries to GeoNames. CC BY 4.0

Deep Time uses public GPlates web-service layers from the EarthByte SETON2012 plate-reconstruction model for ages up to 200 Ma. Personal route coordinates are reconstructed locally in the browser and are not sent to GPlates. EarthByte · SETON2012
